EYEWITNESS OF HIS MAJESTY & LIVING IN HIS KINGDOM
- The Apostles – II Peter 1:16 – 21, John 1:1-14
- * Our Experiences as Observers and Participants
- Whosoever Will, Including You – John 7:37 – 39
-
- As indicated above, there is an open invitation to become an Eyewitness of the Majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ. Becoming an eyewitness is not limited to the Apostles or those who were privileged to live in the days when Jesus physically was present.
-
- *This devotional contains many events that we have experienced during our lifetime. Though they are not fictional, other observers at the time may remember some of the details differently, and the identities of any living individuals have been deliberately obscured, including the names. We have left the names of those who have now been “promoted to glory,” to honor their work for the Lord and contribution to our lives.
-
- By the end of this devotional, it is our sincere hope that you realize that you, too, if you have the desire, can become an “Eyewitness of His Majesty.” Perhaps you have at one time already experienced His glory and gifts. This is an invitation to “stir up the gift,” as Paul exhorted Timothy in II Timothy 1:6 – 7.

“For the God of Today is the God of the Bible”
By
Elizabeth C. Tice
“Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, and today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
(I Kings 18: 16 – 40)
Key of C
CHORUS:
For the God of today is the God of the Bible.
He wants to do what He’s done before.
Put your trust in Him, and you will see it
Come to pass through faith in His Name.
VERSE 1:
Where is the God, the God of Elijah?
Who called down fire from heaven above?
Where is the God Who parted the waters?
Who healed the sick through His great love?
VERSE 2:
Is He asleep or on a journey?
His arm so short that He cannot save?
No, He’s the same, today and forever,
His pow’r the same from day to day.
CHORUS:
For the God of today is the God of Elijah.
He wants to do what He’s done before.
Put your trust in Him, and you will see it
Come to pass through faith in His Name.
